Job Description Job Description Salary: DOE Salary 50,000 to 65,000 The Staff Accountant is responsible for general Accounting and oversight of a recent acquisition entity and integration with existing operations. Duties include: monitoring primary supplier and Subcontractor accounts assist with job-costing of invoices and expenses cash forecasting recording daily bank activity and completing monthly bank reconciliation assist with Purchase Orders and recording Inventory activity coordinating weekly vendor disbursements assisting with AIA and Service billings monitoring past due balances and A/R receipts, assisting with collections assisting in weekly WIP Review process reconciling General Ledger accounts assisting with primary entity accounting preparing journal entries and various month-end close duties assisting with annual Budget and Audit special projects and other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelors degree in accounting or business administration 2 years of experience in accounting Proficiency with database software, Excel and MS Office suite Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast-paced environment Attention to detail Prior experience in a construction, job-shop manufacturing, or similar company/industry is strongly desired THIS JOB IS CONSTRUCTION AND SERVICE BASED COLLECTIONS. EXPERIENCE IN EITHER IS A PLUS.
