Job Description Job Description Land Development Project Engineer Land Development Project Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Land Development Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing land development projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and client specifications. This role requires a combination of engineering expertise and project management skills to deliver successful projects within budget and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee land development projects from initial planning through to completion. Conduct site development assessments including grading, drainage design, and stormwater management. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives. Prepare and review technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal land use and environmental regulations. Perform surveying tasks and coordinate with surveying teams as necessary. Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring effective budget control. Lead project meetings and communicate regularly with clients regarding project status and updates. Coordinate with various disciplines, including civil design and transportation, to ensure comprehensive project delivery. Support construction management activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred in AZ, or the ability to obtain within 3 months. 5 years of experience in land development and project management. Additional experience in transportation and drainage projects a plus. Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software. Strong understanding of environmental regulations and land use planning principles. Experience in grading, drainage design, and stormwater management. Excellent client management and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
