- Two years of responsible-related Finance/Accounting and/or
administrative experience
- Associate degree in public administration, business
administration, finance, budget, or a closely related field
- An equivalent combination of post-secondary education
and/orjob-related experience may substitute for therequired

- Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration or Business or a

- Coordinate and manage office administrative activities,
including facilities, technology, payroll and HR activities, and
procurement
- Function as a communication liaison for internal and external
communications and assist the department staff in ensuring reports
and communications are accurate and professional
- Provide financial and procurement support services, including
placing orders, monitoring contracts or quotes, processing
invoices, and reconciling purchase card activity
- Research and compile information from various sources with
limited supervision. Perform ad hoc projects alone and in team
environments
- Act as the department Payroll and HR Liaison, working closely
with Central Human Resources on department payroll and processing
HR paperwork
- Coordinate all recruitment and hiring activities, including new
employee onboarding activities
- Submit IT requests for telecommunications and technology needs
and other related tasks for department employees
- Schedule meetings and presentations, and coordinate meeting
logistics and preparations
- Make appointments, screen phone calls, handle visitors, and
independently manage incoming correspondence and informal
requests
- Create correspondence, reports, or other materials for review
or official signatureWorking Conditions
- Part-time position: 30 hours per week
- Some schedule flexibility is offered, subject to:
- 6-8 hour workday
- Business hour needs (7:30 am - 5:00 pm)
- Work in the business office is required on Mondays &
Tuesdays
- A hybrid telework environment is available besides the required
office days
- Work is frequently subject to time pressures, multiple or
complicated tasks, unscheduled tasks, and teamworkSelection
