Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Bed Placement/Patient Placement Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: MUST have recent acute care experience - 2 years preferred. Must have experience with TeleTracking and Cerner. Must be strong in computers - prefer experience with Zoom and Google applications. Must be able to multitask and have good customer service skills. Must know the difference between the different departments/units. Description: This position has zero hands-on patient care. The role involves placing patients in the appropriate units in the assigned hospitals. The staff will ask for the type of bed needed and will place the patient in the appropriate bed. Critical thinking skills are required if an order or bed request is not appropriate. Communication with charge or leadership is essential for any discrepancies. The position does not involve giving recommendations, treatment plans, or diagnoses. The staff will work off of three screens and utilize multiple applications. Experience in acute care settings is essential. The role requires excellent multitasking abilities and strong customer service skills. Knowledge of different nursing units is required. No specific area experience is required as long as the candidate has acute care experience. This role does not involve managing bedding and staffing directly. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts, three days a week. Weekend shifts are required. Working holidays may be necessary based on staffing needs. RTO (Request Time Off) should be very limited. The team culture is dynamic and supportive, especially during night shifts. Additional training will be provided in the department.
