Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Must float between BDWMC & BBWMC Campuses • Care for PCU, general telemetry monitored and medical patients • Work with universal bed model • Varied work schedule assignment • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients • Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs • Review patient history and diagnostics, report abnormal results to physicians • Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning • Provide direct patient care, coordinate and delegate activities of healthcare team • Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching • Document all nursing activities in patient records accurately and timely • Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care activities • Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure • BLS certification required • Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required • Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area • Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area • Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred Facility: This healthcare facility operates multiple campuses providing comprehensive medical services including progressive care unit, telemetry monitoring, and general medical care.
