Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,930 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Patient Placement Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Bed Placement / Patient Placement (Emergency Room) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience License: Registered Nurse License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: MUST have recent acute care experience - 2 years preferred with options for long-term care experience. MUST have experience with TeleTracking and Cerner. MUST be strong in computer skills, with preferred experience in Zoom and all Google applications. MUST be able to multitask and possess good customer service skills. MUST understand the differences between various departments and units, such as MedSurg and Tele. Description: This position has zero hands-on patient care. The primary responsibility is placing patients in the appropriate units. You will ask for the type of bed needed and place the patient accordingly. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and communicate if the bed request is inappropriate. This does not involve giving recommendations, treatment plans, or diagnoses. Your role is strictly focused on patient placement. If there are any issues, you will discuss them with the charge nurse or leadership. You will be using multiple screens and applications, including TeleTrac, Cerner, and various Google tools. Weekend shifts required are 4 weekends within a 4-week period. Flexibility for holidays is necessary, as time off is not allowed during this period. The orientation includes 1 day of general hospital orientation and additional training in the department. Candidates must have a limited ability to request time off. The facility can cancel up to 4 shifts during the assignment duration. Manager or supervisor support is available 24/7. Dress code is scrubs of any color, as long as they are clean and professional.
