Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Prescott, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,251 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Prescott, Arizona, 86301! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Staffing Resources Float Pool (ICU/MS/Tele/PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not Required for Submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: At least 1 year experience in ICU setting Description: Prescreening and manager review required. Clinician must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts. If clinician fails to score 80% in two attempts, a 6-month Do Not Use status will apply. Radius rule: 50 miles and candidates may not have worked in any associated facility within the past year. Float pool includes ICU, MedSurg Tele, and PCU units. Inpatients may be held in the emergency department. Average census across units is approximately 20 patients. Nurse-to-patient ratios are PCU 1:4 and MedSurg Tele 1:5-6. Common diagnoses include geriatric and orthopedic patients. Post-procedural care is required for patients including those who have had cardiac procedures. RNs are required to titrate drips, including but not limited to Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin. Charge nurses do not take assignments. Nurse aids are utilized throughout all settings. Respiratory therapy equipment includes CPAP and BiPAP in appropriate settings. Nurses must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips. Scheduling is coordinated by the staffing office and travelers must be flexible. Night shifts will attempt to accommodate block scheduling. Weekend requirements are every other weekend. Travelers will be included in the permanent staff rotation for holidays. There is a call or standby requirement when staffing is excessive. Units will be assigned via text message 2 hours prior to the start of shifts. Scrub color requirement is currently solid color professional scrubs. Cancellation policy allows for 4 shifts per contract and 3 shifts for contracts under 13 weeks.
