Hours: 36 hrs/week Contract: 13 Weeks Job Overview Seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry RN to care for telemetry patients boarding in the Emergency Department while awaiting inpatient placement. This role requires strong cardiac telemetry skills and independent rhythm interpretation. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry RN experience (within last 6 months) - Strong cardiac telemetry background - Ability to read & interpret tele strips independently - Experience titrating cardiac drips Drips (Required) - Cardizem - Heparin - Amiodarone Certifications - BLS – Required - ACLS – Required Testing Requirements - RELIAS Dysrhythmia Exam (pass within 48 hrs of offer, max 2 attempts) - Day-1 SIM Lab (Pass/Fail) Patient Population - ED hold patients awaiting inpatient beds - Primarily MS/Telemetry cardiac patients - Will assist ED staff with vitals, IVs, and medications - Will not be primary RN for ED trauma patients Scheduling - 12-hour shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a) - 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule - Holiday rotation with permanent staff - No call Floating - Required to float to Med/Surg, Tele, Overflow units and affiliated EDs as needed Scrubs - Navy Blue Specialty Healthcare – Nursing (RN) Department: MS / Telemetry (ED Holds) About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
