Institute continues to grow, we are looking for a pool, Radiologist
Technologist position for the OR. Please see below for the
functions and requirements for this opportunity. ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS : Correctly identifies patient and corresponding exam.
Obtains and documents patient history. Demonstrates proper
positioning, radiographic techniques, and cassette screen/grid
combinations to ensure high quality examinations. Practice standard
precautions and maintain infection control standards. Educate
patient regarding procedures and related information. Properly
operate equipment as demonstrated by observation and audit. Cleans
equipment and stocks supplies as needed. Demonstrate cooperative,
positive and professional patient care and customer service.
Consistently maintain complete confidentiality of all medical,
financial, employee, computer or other sensitive material which may
jeopardize the privacy of others. Perform and support quality
assurance/CQI programs and processes. Demonstrate commitment to
organizational goals. Attend all mandatory in-services and
training. Assist the Radiologist with Arthrogram procedures. Must
demonstrate appropriate sterile procedure skills. Performs any
other duties assigned. EDUCATION : Completion of Associates program
in Radiologic Technology or Certification from a Credentialled
Radiology School, with ARRT Certification. EXPERIENCE : Minimum of
one year of previous experience. REQUIREMENTS : Current State and
ARRT licensure. Current CPR certification. The job holder must
demonstrate current competencies for job position KNOWLEDGE : Basic
knowledge and understanding of PACS. Basic knowledge and
understanding of HIPAA. SKILLS : Must demonstrate excellent patient
care skills. Must demonstrate professional communication skills.
Must be adaptable to high volume environment. ABILITIES : Proper
equipment manipulation. Ability to set techniques that follow
ALARA. Able to work independently. ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
: May occasionally be exposed to radiation, poor ventilation and
fumes. PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS : Work requires standing and walking
for extended periods of time. Requires lifting, pushing and pulling
of approximately 50 lbs. ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS HOPCo Mission,
