The Cardiac Cath Lab at Banner Boswell supports 24 Diagnostic/Interventional cardiologists and performs inpatient/outpatient diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral procedures. The facility currently offers 2 procedural labs and a 9 bed Pre-Admit/Post Procedure Recovery area. Another procedural lab and 7 more recovery beds will be added with the new cardiovascular center set to open in late November.Bring your previous experience as a Cath Lab Nurse to this key role at Banner Boswell. Orientation and onboarding to this highly technical and specialized department is provided by an experienced Cath lab RN preceptor. There is also opportunity to attend Banner Health's Cardiac Cath Lab Academy.Assignments include circulating and scrubbing cardiac and peripheral procedures, in addition to admission and recovery of patients. Work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, Mon.-Fri., 6:30am-5:00pm. There is also 24/7 on-call coverage, for weeknights, weekends, and holidays, for urgent and emergent procedures, call out pay is an additional $5/hour. External Customers: regulatory and health agencies, patients and family members.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSCertificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.Requires national certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by state regulatory agency if applicable. Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty required if applicable within 18 months of hire (and/or equivalent clinical experience for Cath Lab only). BLS certification.This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of experience.
